Spontaneous Sewing Project

I finished up another not-to-be-disclosed birthday present today and the kids were so engaged in their own activities in the playroom that I was inspired to add on one more small project: creating an armband/holder for my phone, to use when I workout. Essentially, it's just a cotton pocket with a piece of elastic sewn on in an arm-sized loop. I'm not sure how it will hold up, but I'm proud that it was made entirely from scraps I had on hand, and it took less than 15 minutes! Now I can listen to my music and podcasts on the elliptical, hands-free!
