Kenwood and curry

The overnight rain turned into sparkling sunshine this morning and we set off to visit the recently refurbished Kenwood House and it's stunning art collection (with paintings by Gainsborough, Vermeer, Turner and Rembrandt). English Heritage have done a wonderful job restoring the building, it's pristine and stuffed full of helpful guides. We rounded off our visit with a beer in the Brew House and a little drive down Bishops Avenue to gawp at the empty mansions.

This evening the local drinking holes and a curry house beckon...
