Farmer's market at Kurki ecological village

This morning I woke up at 5 and went for a very early morning swim. The lake was very still and there was an eerie pink light in th esky before sunbreak. A was a bit mad about me not waking him up, so tomorrow I will try to get him come with me if I wake up early...

We went to the Kurki farm this morning by bike to buy some vegetables to take home and to have some coffee in the garden.

At the farm everything is grown organically, and the community includes many families with children and animals living together in a tight community with some foreign trainees, or volunteer workers as well.

The cakes and coffee were delicious, and A got a chance to play some football in the garden with one of the little boys around.

On our way back we picked loads of chanterels in the forest - it is amazing how you always find them when you are not really looking.
