We are lucky!

We got this lovely pair of mittens (and seven more) made in twined knitting on loan for our shop display this month. They are designed and knitted by Maria Gustafsson, a very skilled and well-known Swedish knitter and designer. Thanks, Maria!

Twined knitting or tvåändsstickning in Swedish, meaning "two-end knitting," is a Scandinavian speciality, not a quick technique, but the result is lovely!
