Weinwoche

That's "Wine week" if you wondered.

After a long day where I sorted out things and then spent the afternoon learning more about python (a programming language - and 4 hours disappeared), we headed into town to see what was what at the Annual Weinfest.

For a week in August the town square is filled with stalls offering the best and the almost-best wines that you can get from our area. We like to visit and drink a glass of Sekt or 2 should the chance arrive.

Sadly, the Sekt we chose this year was a little too sweet for our palates. Another visit during the week is called for.

I would tell you that it is very civilised but, after watching the elderly lady fall over without tripping on anything, I'll settle for saying that people like getting drunk and enjoying themselves.

Thinking about going out on the bike tomorrow wearing my Urmel-Pants. That may be the Sekt talking.
