Memorial

When I got my first real camera, one of the first places I visited was Kelvingrove Museum.

I remember taking lots of Kodachrome slides of this scene of the war memorial with the museum in the background.

As we were passing today, I wandered over and noticed all of the floral tributes at the base commemorating 100 years since the outbreak of the first world war.

I couldn't resist snapping it again.
