Unbelievable!

I had to stop the car when the rain completely obliterated the windscreen. This was the A6 just coming out of Bakewell towards Matlock around 5:20. For a short time, the road just disappeared under a sea of rain. It sounded like a million ball bearings hitting the car.The wipers were still running when I took this shot of some maniac who thought they could see well enough to drive.
