Moth Mullein

Verbascum virgatum

This is called moth mullein in New Zealand, but is known as twiggy mullein in other places. It grows upright usually without branches and the flowers appear at different levels. It can grow to 2 metres. I love them when they grow tall as they move gracefully in even a strong wind.

I took this early this morning. Then I succumbed to some sort of lurgy and missed the sunshine. It will have to do. Sorry I won't be doing any commenting. Back to bed for me.
