Weeping Girl

What a great day, as S said, almost like we were on holiday! We'd headed out to the Jupiter Artland to see some work by Katie Paterson and ended up spending hours wandering round the whole place and looking at every piece of sculpture. I had a completely different idea of what it would be like, the reality being much better of course!
There is some great stuff there but I really like Weeping Girls (there are half a dozen of them) by Laura Ford. She's quoted "the site I have picked at Jupiter has a quiet, melancholic atmosphere." I thought it was spooky!

So a quick bite to eat in East Calder and we headed over the bridge to the Pittenweem Art Festival. (That second bridge is fairly coming along by the way but the traffic's a nightmare; I think everyone is slowing down to have a good look at it.) Anyway, it was back down to the harbour and a visit to Venue 83, Dave H's exhibition. And he had some excellent paintings too so I hope he makes a few more sales tomorrow, last day of the Festival.
