Wax-eyes at sunrise

This morning woke to see a huge moon, jumped into my clothes grabbed the camera, and ran outside to see it disappear below the mountain. So took this instead.

R created a bird feeder yesterday, basically a bottle of sugar water inverted over a jam jar lid. The wax eyes found it in a few minutes. They were going to this feeder this morning when a bigger bird arrived and they move to safety on this tree.
