A night to remember always...

Tonight my daughter's family went on a moonlight boat ride with us...we were hoping to see the meteor showers from the middle of our lake.

The surface of the lake was dark and still, and as I was trying to take a long exposure (knowing it would be jiggly because we were on the water), our neighbors shot off a firework that I happened to catch!

This shot is straight out of my camera, and I love everything about it...the moon, the reflections, the fireworks, and most of all the memories!

Oh, and the meteors!! We did see quite a few in spite of the brilliant moon!
