Weathering the storm

We spent quite a wild night tucked up in bed listening to the rain and the wind. Well, when I say 'we' I really mean 'me'... as the woofer snored his way through the night without stirring. Today continues to be wet and windy although hopefully the worst has passed.

We can count ourselves very lucky however, as the storm has left Kansai relatively unscathed. In other areas the storm was much more fierce with some places suffering flooding and landslides and more than one million people have been advised to evacuate their homes as typhoon Halong batters south-west Japan.
