A Day on the Dark Side

Had a fantastic day today with my daughter Harriet (pictured).

We caught the train from Sowerby Bridge to Manchester Victoria and ventured into Beewriter and Chrissie1butter territory over on the dark side. What a fantastic day!!!

We explored the shops, had a look round the "Dig the City" exhibits as blipped by Beewriter and Freyjad, drank wine in the warm sunshine, had sushi for lunch and then baclava and fruit drinks in the afternoon.

We were fascinated by the Piccadilly Rats - they were also blipped by Beewriter today.

On the way back we stopped off at Hebden Bridge to check out the Bike and Go scheme that I have just subscribed to. We got waylaid for a couple of hours with tea and berry cider listening to some fab music outside in the evening sunshine at the "Parcel Office" bar at the station.

A great day which we finished off with even more food from the Cafe Thai.

I must be getting brave because I'm heading back over to the dark side again on Friday
