Fly on a hop
After 2 weekends away it was nice to potter around at home. We had a leisurely breakfast at Luluz, and I did some gardening.
We visited Adam and Lou to see the house they've just bought in West Ham. So you'd think that I'd have a photo of their lovely new pad, which has just been refurbished, so they don't need to do any work. But I didn't manage to get my phone out of my bag.
I even managed not to notice Lou's shiny new engagement ring, although she had been waving it under my nose for a good couple of hours. I'm out of practice with spotting engagement rings - there was a time when I could spot them in a nanosecond. Anyway, it's fantastic news, and Houblon has a wedding photographer job next year.
We finished off the evening with a meal in Stratford, and then a trip home on the Jubilee line, which was livened up no end by a young woman wearing what Lapper would call a "gownless evening strap". I would have taken a photo of her, but she was too aware of what was going on around her for me to be able to get away with it.
