A touch of brightness

This was the only brightness on my trip to church this morning, the flowers in the arch left from Friday's wedding.

The weather is just as predicted, the tail end of hurricane Bertha we are told but although it has been persistently wet we haven't had the gales (yet) and it wasn't the deluge we experienced on Friday which apparently caused a lot of damage in the region.

Think I'll be watching more rugby this afternoon.
