Heather on Gowbarrow

A lovely walk today around Gowbarrow Fell and back via Aira Force. This walk gives you fabulous views for little effort. This is not the best view by far but it does show the heather which is in full bloom. We were chased by rain most of the way but it never quite caught us and the sun started to come out as we settled here for our picnic lunch
