Tasty dessert at "The Chip"

Last night we drove through to Glasgow and had a delightful meal at the Ubiquitous Chip known locally as "The Chip". This was my sweet course and like all the food it was not only delicious but got top marks for presentation.

It may seem a long way to drive from Fife to Glasgow but the friend we took with us just happens to be the mum of the head chef - a young man whom we have known since he was a wee boy living not far from us. It was a bonus that he was able to join us at the coffee stage and very interesting to hear a bit of how a busy restaurant kitchen functions with numerous chefs in the team.

Needless to say it was after midnight by the time we got home hence this is a back blip.
