He did it!

Mr M did the Prudential 100 bike ride today.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) Hurricane Bertha meant the organisers decided to cut Box Hill and Leith Hill out of the course.

I nearly didn't see Mr M finish. I dropped him off OK at silly o'clock this morning. I managed to meet him in Pyrford in the pouring rain at one of the official stops. However I got stuck on the A4 in horrendous traffic and would have missed him crossing the finishing line but he delayed finishing until I got there. I then had problems finding the finishing line in the Mall when the heavens opened and I got my second soaking of the day.

Mr M is having a massage at the moment then we're heading home for dinner and a bottle of champagne!
