Annecy

Today was C&N's last day with us. I was nursing a slight hangover from a boisterous time the evening before when we consumed far too much wine with a good meal.

We decided to drive to Annecy in two cars and they could then continue their journey north from there and we could return to Le Petit Nid. I love Annecy having been here several times before - but never previously on a hot Saturday in August - it was very busy. We had a good walk around the town, lovely lunch and delicious ice-cream before we said goodbye. Santana was very sad to see his son go home but will see them again in a few weeks.
