Random

Last Sunday Will sowed random seeds in pots to see what would happen (this is what I call "gardening", also includes throwing lots of stuff in the gardening bin) And here we are just seven days later with three pots full off lettuces, radishes and random flowers which have not a hope of flowering this year.

I stayed in bed until 11:30, receiving texts from my camping friends and my mum, congratulating ourselves on coming home last night as the rain lashed down and the wind went crazy wild. Sorted the camping stuff, went to see Cat for a coffee and a big bag of small boy clothes, had a long overdue talk with Hannah, shouted randomly at the idleness of the other people who live in this house, ordered holiday reading books for all (I tell Will he loves reading now because he is so good at it, it makes him feel all proud so he reads the odd page), started writing lists for The Big French Adventure, cooked bolognaise, decided I needed a glass of red wine as a reward for all the effort.

Three days of work and the two and a half weeks off with TBFA starting on Thursday. I am in the holiday zone.
