Snow companion

Snow, snow, snow! I managed to make it to my business meeting at Canary Wharf without too much trouble, but I was a little late due to slow trains. I was treated to lunch, which was lovely.

On my way home, I went for a walk around West Norwood cemetery, which I knew would have deep, virgin snow that I could play around in. Sure enough, the snow went above my boot level. At the top of the Ship Path (so-called because one of the graves has a stone ship on its lid), I turned and saw a fox watching me. As I grabbed my camera, he turned and trotted off, though you can see that he still has his ears trained on me. Turning right from the Ship Path, I came to the main road of the cemetery and just beyond were two vivid red foxes chasing each other through the snow. I'm afraid I wasn't quick enough to capture them, but they were really fun to watch. The cemetery is a great haven for wildlife and folk who want to escape the busy city for a moment.
