I spent the afternoon sorting, dumping and moving. My new tidy self does this more often, which is great for three reasons.

1. I have fun reminiscing as I sort through my stuff.
2. I only keep what I can't bear to part with, which I'm getting better at, resulting in less but better stuff.
3. Moving things around as I tidy makes the place look completely refreshed.

The only things I'm really not very good at parting with are my books. This pile - all must keeps - now reside in the hall. My precious books look beautiful in their new home. And I've found my next read. It's been a very satisfying afternoon.
