The Spider and the Hanging Figure

Today we were blessed wih the remnants of Bertha. Mostly rain but thankfully no wind. Not a day for going out and doing much. We took our visitors into Middlesbrough and to the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art. The ground floor exhibition was of works by Louise Bourgeois. One of the sculptures was of a spider with an egg inside its body. I liked the way I could see through to the hanging figure in the far room.
