Arrived last night and today walked to the National Gallery. Then on to the Tower of London. I hadn't visited the Tower in years and of course a lot of things have changed, not of course the Tower itself but the organisation of it.

The moat filling up with the ceramic poppies was an impressive site and will be even more impressive and poignant by November.

I wonder how many people looked out of the White Tower window over the centuries.
