Stumps at Thornham

. . . . at high tide. These seem to be old trees, hardened by repeated immersion in the sea. Quite how they once survived is a mystery, perhaps the area was higher once and the trees were then able to survive normally. They look mysterious and attract artists and photographers (if you believe there is a difference!).
