Party with a view

An invitation to a party was generously extended to our family as we were staying with some of the invitees, even though it meant there were six additional people to feed!

The party was nearby and hosted by ex-pats. The surroundings were very pretty with views on to several mountains. Our hostess Helen provided us with excellent food and everyone was friendly.

The children loved the pool and having another dog to play with.

Today was a sorching 38°, so we were grateful this party was late afternoon, as we spent the morning melting in the heat where the only relief was the much appreciated swimming pool. The breeze was like standing in a hot hairdryer!

A great day, but maybe I'm sounding a little English as I'll be grateful that the weather forecast is only predicting 31° tomorrow!
