Fishing trip

A new friend, Steve from our boat trip on the reef invited me fishing this evening.

It was an impromptu affair with some local guys taking us out in their bangka and using hand lines wrapped around plastic water bottles. We caught a few small reef fish we gave to the local guys and caught a lovely sunset out on the water.

As the sun set and we motored back to the lights of Port Barton in the darkness phosphorescent neon algae lit up our wake like a comet streaking through the waves. South seas magic!
