'Life in Squares'

Well it's certainly been an interesting day in our Square. The BBC film crew arrived early and started setting up in torrential rain. They were filming a new three part drama called 'Life in Squares' which tells the story of the Bloomsbury set over a number of years. As the filming started we had a group of drunk men arrive in the park. They soon got into a big row and suddenly a baseball bat was being swung and the police were called. In a matter of moments the park was full of police and the incident was sorted out.

As filming continued, another group arrived in the centre of the park and male models were soon changing for a fashion shoot. It was all go at one point. After a quick shopping trip to Angel, I came back and watched the filming for a while. They were shooting a scene where someone arrived by horse-drawn ambulance and was then taken into one of the houses.

It's been an interesting day in our quiet little Square.
