the little one has a case of thrush, which we've been treating once a day with gentian violot (purple dye). and, no, thrush has not been the cause of her fever.

photography side note - this was taken as a reflection in a mirror, which turned out to be a bad idea because the side bounced flash created a weird halo around the right side (her left) of her head, hence the need for odd cropping. lesson learned - mirrors are not your friend.
