Cinema

I can't remember the last time I was/we were in a cinema, but tonight we decided on the spur of the moment to escape our streets and sit in the dark to be transported to Ireland and Afghanistan by watching a film called 'A Thousand Times Good Night'. Not an easy piece (and largely implausible into the bargain) and the glass of the projection room condensed up so badly that the first 20 minutes was all presented in an artistic fog on screen! Still, it was a nice end to a lovely day when we had one of Dd's colleagues formerly in Cairo round for lunch. Both of us forget to ask her for a blip, so we are struggling for one now, and frustrated that we let one simply walk out the door unasked! Whatever next!
