Back to the west!

Well our summer break came to an end today.We tidied up, cleaned, packed and drove through torrential rain. One ray of sunshine was that Wifi was back from France and so it was good to see her again! The boy was overjoyed to see her and he wagged and wagged and wagged his tail before pulling his bed out of his cage and dragging it along the hall. I can only assume this was some welcome ceremony in honour of Wifi.

We had a great holiday - the weather was brilliant, we attended things at the Crail Festival, visited the Pittemweem Arts Festival, had BBQs, sat round the chimnea at night, saw friends in St Andrews, spent time with our lovely neighbours, good friends came to stay with us (Goretex and Eubers) and we saw other good friends for coffee and dinner (on reflection, I should have said that the starter and dessert last night were fab and the views from the terrace were to die for and of course the company was first class and the bottle of fizz was good too!). Work beckons tomorrow and mum has tests at the end of the week but our break has been good for the body and soul.

All of the above has nothing to do with the picture! The picture was taken on our morning walk with the dog before the rain started! I just noticed the title of my blip on this day last year is the same as this year. I'm either a creature of habit or I lack imagination!!
