One of my favourite places

It was raining when we set off for Burton Agnes but we decided that it would be a good activity for a wet day. It rained so much that there was water pouring down the inside wall of the drawing room of this historic Elizabethan house. Keeping the roof repaired must be a nightmare. Eventually the rain stopped and that allowed us to walk in the gardens to admire the new spherical water sculpture which rotates to give the impression that it is rolling on the surface of the water.
