Nice Idea...

...poorly executed!

I found a chevron pattern using a layer cake, which I really liked. I wanted to make it in Hearty Good Wishes, but could not find a layer cake anywhere. However, I could find mini charms. One thing led to another, and I came up with the idea of a mini quilt. The only problem is those pesky half square triangles. The method used to get 4 from 2 charms gives you an outside edge which is on the bias. With a 7" square that's not such a problem, as one can manipulate a little. No such luxury on these tiny 1.4" squares! I think I'll be going back to the drawing board on this one.
