Prehistoric?...Who Me?

This handsome beast is a Brown Anole, An0lis sagrei. This species is diurnal and spends much of it's day in trees and shrubs but never ventures far from the ground and rests head facing downward so that it can go to ground whenever danger threatens. Males are very territorial and attempt to warn away intruders by head bobbing and push-ups. These are usually followed by displays of his colorful throat fan.
