Queen's View

It was strange today thinking that we (Ange, Jackie and Alex) were walking in the footsteps of Queen Victoria. Apparently she stood near the start of this walk for her first view of Loch Lomond which you can just see in the distance of this blip. However unlike us she never ventured further up the hill and so missed the opportunity to explore the Whangie.

We were lucky today in that we had fabulous weather and only wore T-shirts probably poor Queen Victoria had typically damp Scottish weather and very heavy clothing!!
