Summer Flowers
I took another short hike up in the mountains beside the river. Many of the summer flowers are still blooming. I was hoping to capture a fuzzy bumble bee on a thistle, but the wind came up making it very difficult. I was able to capture this lovely flower with the river in the background.
Not too long after I got this shot, a fast moving thunderstorm came over and almost drenched me before I made it back to the car. Thankfully, I was able to keep my camera dry. But it made me realize that I really need to buy some kind of beltpack, waistpack or fannypack for my camera when I hike. I've thought many times of buying a backpack, but most of the backpacks I've seen are not very accessible unless you take it off. I want something that I can have easy access to my camera, take my pictures, then put it back and walk to the next photo spot. Also, when I hike, I don't carry a lot of stuff with me. I already have a shoulder bag, but that puts too much weight on one shoulder and isn't very convenient when I hike.
Any suggestions?
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Have a great week!
