Supermoon August 10, 2014

Today started with a trip to watch the eagles for 4 hours early this AM...got lots of good photos, and met a friend, so enjoyed some good conversation too!! At the end of our stint eagle watching, in flew a red-tailed hawk!! It was a joy to watch it as it hunted and captured a mouse, and proceeded to eat it.

And finally the day ended with dinner out with neighbors and a view from their backyard of the supermoon!! They have a much better view than we do, toward the "west hills" of Portland (east), so we were able to watch the moonrise! Awesome colors!!!!
