Kotuku

Otherwise known as a White Heron and is native to New Zealand.

A little disappointed with the white being blown out but the capture I'm thrilled with. A wetlands bird which has been feeding round Pegasus of late. They breed on the West Coast, a single colony at Okarito  and disperse throughout the country when not breeding. It is the largest native heron in New Zealand.
