August is a good month for Orchid viewing as there are a number of Orchid clubs that exhibit their favourite plants for entry into competitions or sales.
Of course the awarding of prizes for the best is always in the hands of the judges. I must say that my opinion differs somewhat with those "in the know" but the quality is so good that judging must be a difficult chore.

I couldn't help but make a purchase.
