Celebration.

Today is such an important day for me as it marks an anniversary. Five years ago today I had an operation to remove cancer. The operation was successful, I had chemotherapy for 5 months followed by six weeks of radiotherapy and up to now four and a half years of hormone therapy. For me, reaching the five year mark is such an important step. Cancer has changed me - I value each day I wake up and I am so grateful to God for the way he has healed me and sustained me through some very hard times. I am so grateful to have had wonderful friends who have walked this journey with me and JP and Bek who have been the pillars in my life. I am a cancer success story and I will celebrate.
