Red for danger

Lots of cuckoo-pint (Arum maculatum; aka Lords and Ladies and Jack-in-the-pulpit, among other things) berries ripening under the apple trees in our garden. Unfortunately they're very poisonous, so we'll probably remove them before Mr M's young niece comes to stay next week.

VERY windy but, as long as it doesn't rain, it will blow dry a lot of our festival washing (all double-pegged in the hope that it doesn't get blown to the next village...)
