Bird of Paradise

I still get a thrill whenever I see these maginficent flowers growing naturally and not just featuring in a very expensive bouquet! This one is down by the promenade on of the most southerly points on the European mainland. (That doesn't stop it being cold today, though.)

On a practical note, I'm still trying to work out the macro zoom function on my Lumix TZ7 - does anyone know? Does it only work on automatic tracking? I'll keep experimenting.
