Torbay

Due to a slight misunderstanding today my planned walk from Torquay back to where we are staying didnt work out as expected.

I had planned a walk along the coastal path from Babbacombe back to our campsite in Shaldon but we ended up taking the bus to Torbay harbour. This meant that by the time we had walked back to where our walk was meant to start we had already done 7 miles.

We pressed on as far as we could and got to Maidencombe before we decided to get the bus back. Unfortunately we just missed a bus and had 1 hour to wait which we spent at the excellent Thatched Inn :-)

By the time we got back we had walked 11 very hilly miles. My GPS said we had ascended 4000 feet (the height of Ben Nevis)
