Chocolate Brown in the Morning.

This is the river Swale as it flows past Easby Abbey just 2 miles south of Richmond.

Known for it's dark chocolatey colour due to minerals found all along its path, it looks particularly appealing when flowing fast as it was this morning.

Lovely walk along the river back to Richmond enjoying the many sunny spells.
