West Boldon Church

Boldon St Nicholas. An ancient church, the foundations are Saxon and it stands above the River Don on one of the routes between Jarrow and Wearmouth that Bede and Benedict Biscop would have followed. Played for a wedding here today and will play for a Baptism tomorrow while the organist is on holiday. Timeless offices that have been conducted here for too many generations to count.
