Sun shining through the rain

It'll be one of they metaphors.

C's mum died last night. It was expected and was something of a release for the family. The last two weeks have been hard on C and her brothers and sister. But C was there until the end, which was a good thing.

And, after a long drive down, we are now back in Cornwall to pick up the end of our holiday. We've missed H who is back in Paris now but maybe we'll get out to see her before too long...
