So that's that then - another holiday has come and gone - our week in Yorkshire is over.

But going by the smile on this young man's face he certainly looks like he enjoyed it.

We will visit Yorkshire again as we didn't do the scenic drives in the moors and national park area and we need more sunny days on those glorious beaches.

But for the time being it's back to work, kids birthday party to organise and first day at school next week for Ewan.

On our trip home today we stopped off for a lovely and fully recommended lunch at The Bridge Cafe Bistro on the A66 near Penrith.
