Mindfulness
Today I went to the loveliest tea place.
Me and my mum sat by the radiator and there was a cute little table with two very small, long draws. My mum opened one and I the other. Mine was empty. But my mums was filled with this notepad of scribbles and doodles. On one of the pages was the most perfect thing I could of ever hear at that point in moment in my life. It said:
"Tea! The universal short cut to a calm collected solution to life's trails, tribulations and troubles. It is the 22nd February 2013 exactly 12:43pm, I have ordered the Licorice tea to help with my cold. I must say I hate licorice but I love this tea... Oh the magic of tea.
The sparkly being opposite has ordered the Northumbrian Kendo Club tea. These teas. Oh the teas. I am the only one sat at this chair (next to the radiator) at this moment in time and space. I am the only one drinking this tea in this chair in this moment in time.
It is special. It is mine alone.
Look at your tea. That is your tea, no one elses. Savoir at least one taste. Why? Because that sip of that tea is a small part of your life and no one can take that way from you.
Take life one sip at a time and remember every sip is yours to choose."
Isn't that beautiful? As if the universe sent me to that very spot in order to find that very note, at this moment in my life. Everything happens for a reason.
Happy Blipping.
