Generosity and abundance

Yesterday I was in Lidl paying for bottles of gin and a bottle of brandy. They were for Damson gin and blackberry brandy.
Behind me in the queue was an older gentleman who I didn't know who eventually told me his name was Bill.
While we were in the queue I ended up telling him about picking brambles (blackberries) with my mum and how we struggled to find enough.
He told me about his allotment and how the blackberries there were amazing.
He invited me to visit him this evening - what a wonderful man who is 81 and showed me his wonderful allotment and sent me home with this bounty.
