Small nap

This is Small. He is one of my hooded rats. One of his brothers had a fat stripe down his back, Small had a thin one. Phatz and Small became their names. In their cage I hang a rat ball for a sleeping place because they are useless for anything else. Rats hate playing in them. They are horrid things. Small always sleeps on top of it. I just had to take a photo. This little man and his siblings came to us inside their Mum, Apple. She was a rescue who was pregnant. We raised the kits (rat babies) and kept the boys - some were rehomed and came back to us - and they are all but two still with us. :-)
